Context

Healthcare professionals in Brazil face long payment cycles from insurers and hospitals, creating cash flow pressure and limiting growth opportunities.

To address this scenario, Conta da Saúde was founded in 2020, focusing on the securitization of medical receivables and the creation of a real liquidity alternative for the sector. The initiative involved everything from developing the business model to structuring the legal and financial framework of the operation, ensuring security and compliance.

In addition, robust processes for receivables analysis and anticipation were developed, enabling an efficient, scalable operation aligned with the specific needs of physicians and clinics.

Monetizing the Network

One of the main challenges was addressing the lack of liquidity faced by doctors and clinics, often impacted by long payment cycles. Furthermore, the medical receivables anticipation market remained underdeveloped, with few specialized and secure solutions available.

In this context, it became essential to develop a financial model that was both reliable and scalable—capable of meeting market demands while unlocking growth for healthcare professionals.
